Though New York is at a stand still during these difficult times. This city still has a pulse. I catch up with my boy Nehemiah and see how he’s marking the days on his calendar. From working on material for his sketches to baking up some sweet treats. I Chopped it up with the man who stays at the bar with me till the lights are up and see what’s on his mind and what’s in the stove.
WHATS YOUR MORNING ROUTINE
I either: sleep until noon/afternoon, drink something, maybe eat something, roll something, tweet something (@neversad), make dinner, pass out in front of tv. Or I: wake up at 8, stay in bed reading until noon/afternoon, eat/hydrate, go for a bike ride, smoke, make dinner, pass out in front of tv.

Finally ripped a hole in the crotch of the only pants I’ve been wearing this whole time so I just changed into the next pair of pants that I’ll be wearing for the forseeable future. And I rotate between three hoodies (black, tie dye, beige).
WHAT ARE YOU WATCHING, LISTENING TO OR READING
Just finished rereading Invisible Man for the first time since college. still pretty good. Started Parable of the Talents; also haven’t read any Octavia since college. I don’t own any books that were published after 2010. If I didn’t pretend to read it in college, I’m not about to read it now.
WHATS YOUR GO TO MEAL
Cigarette, maybe bar of chocolate, bowl of heavy cream, 4 or 5 sowsages (this isn’t a typo), something like that. Been making a lot of stews also. *Tiff has been making a lot of stews. I be making sandwiches tho, and she loves them because I make a mean sandwich. Also been baking a lot. Made some homemade dulce de leche marble cake the other day.
WHAT HAVE YOU BOUGHT ONLINE
See question 2 (my nigga i’m not working). Tiff, however, who I live with and who has been working, buys all her wine online. She got a case of 12 bottles last week and we already finished them all. Graduated to hard liquor and light beer for the time being.
